Design Supervisor Job (Remote)

Draftss is a leading design and development service on subscription, providing clients with access to a skilled team of designers and developers. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality designs and development solutions tailored to our clients' needs. We are looking for a talented and experienced Design Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain our high standards.

The design supervisor at Draftss will be responsible for overseeing the quality and consistency of all design work submitted by our team of designers. This role includes reviewing designs, monitoring client communications, pitching higher subscription plans to clients, and training new designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

(a) Design review and quality control:
1. Review and approve all design submissions to ensure they meet Draftss' quality standards and client requirements.
2. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers to enhance their work.

(b) Client communication oversight:
1. Monitor communications between client servicing team members and clients to ensure clarity, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
2. Assist in resolving any design-related issues or misunderstandings with clients.

(c) Revenue growth:
1. Pitch higher-tier subscription plans and additional services to clients, aiming to increase company revenue.
2. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on client needs and feedback.

(d) Training and mentorship:
1. Train and onboard new designers, helping them understand Draftss' processes, standards, and expectations.
2. Provide ongoing mentorship and support to the design team to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a design supervisor, senior designer, or in a similar role.
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design skills and creativity.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance.
6. Experience in client communication and relationship management.
7. Proven track record of successful upselling and revenue generation.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
