As a junior DevOps Engineer at our company, you will work closely with our clients to help them manage their cloud infrastructure and automate their development workflows.
Key responsibilities:
1. Managing AWS cloud infrastructure- work on setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, and S3 buckets (work with clients to design and implement cloud architectures that meet their business needs)
2. Implementing automation using Terraform- work to use Terraform to automate the deployment and management of infrastructure on AWS, write Terraform code to define infrastructure as code and manage the entire infrastructure lifecycle
3. Building automation scripts using Python- assist with using Python to build automation scripts for tasks such as provisioning infrastructure, deploying applications, and monitoring systems, you will work with clients to design and implement custom automation solutions that meet their unique needs
4. Managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines- work with clients to implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI and you will configure pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications
5. Monitoring and troubleshooting systems- be responsible for monitoring client systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively and you will use tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic to monitor systems and troubleshoot issues
6. Collaborating with clients and other team members- work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide guidance on best practices for DevOps processes and also collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and expertise
