We are looking for a full-stack JavaScript developer who will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions as part of our agile development team.

Key responsibilities:

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
5. Building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js code
6. Integrating data storage solutions, primarily Postgres SQL
7. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Skills & Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
3. Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles
4. Experience with Node.js and Express.js
5. Understanding of SQL, specifically Postgres, and its common interfaces with Node.js
6. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
7. Understanding of authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT) and OAuth
8. Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
9. Familiarity with webhooks and their use in integrating third-party APIs
10. Practical experience with Docker containerization and orchestration
11. Experience with Shopify's Polaris design system (good to have, but not critical)
12. Familiarity with the Express.js framework (good to have, but not critical)
13. AWS/GCP/Azure experience (good to have, but not critical)
