We are looking for a passionate junior deep learning scientist specializing in computer vision and medical pathology AI to join our team. You will be part of a dynamic team driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI algorithms for medical pathology. You will collaborate with experts in the field to implement advanced machine learning and computer vision techniques that will have a direct impact on the future of healthcare.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement deep learning algorithms for medical pathology, specifically focusing on computer vision tasks such as segmentation, detection, and classification of medical images
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, clinicians, and software engineers, to understand requirements, formulate scientific problems, and develop suitable modeling approaches
3. Design, conduct, and analyze experimental results to improve model performance and generalize ability
4. Keep up-to-date with the latest research in the field of AI and medical pathology and seek opportunities to apply new findings to our work
5. Document and present research findings and developments including status and results clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing
Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field
Ph.D. is a plus but not mandatory
Solid understanding and experience with deep learning, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms
Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar
Familiarity with medical imaging data, specifically pathology images is desirable but not mandatory
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
Good understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts and a passion for learning new techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Published research in areas of deep learning or medical imaging is a plus
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of medical imaging standards like DICOM and experience with libraries such as SimpleITK, pydicom is a plus
Annual CTC: ₹ 5,00,000 /year
