Junior Machine Learning Specialist Job (Remote)

We are looking for a junior Machine Learning Engineer (NLP & Object Detection):

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development, training, and deployment of machine learning models, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Object Detection.
2. Collaborate with senior ML engineers and data scientists to scope and define project requirements and model objectives.
3. Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets from various sources for model training and evaluation.
4. Help implement and fine-tune pre-trained models using libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
5. Support the evaluation of model performance using appropriate metrics and assist in iterating models based on findings.
6. Contribute to documentation of model development, experiments, and deployment processes for internal reference and reproducibility.
7. Participate in code reviews and model validation with senior team members to ensure best practices are followed.
8. Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to integrate ML models into applications and services.
9. Research and summarize recent developments in NLP and computer vision to inform team projects and enhance existing solutions.
10. Assist in maintaining ML pipelines and monitoring systems to ensure model performance and reliability in production environments.
