Lead- Communications And Membership Outreach Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in organizing WeCare webinars and events and remain single point of contact with vendors and members.
2. Prepare social media campaigns/updates for creating awareness about WeCare actions and Projects in the domain of plastic waste management.
3. Update WeCare website with all activities
4. Assist in conceptualizing new initiatives from WeCare with an objective to help members in driving the agenda of plastic waste management in the country.
5. Work in close coordination with service vendors to ensure delivery of the initiatives/projects.
6. Assist in planning, budgeting and management of consortium activities including the preparation of the action plans for the consortium and its implementation and monitoring.
7. Prepare and undertake campaigns for the membership desk for fundraising.
8. Ensure proper organization and management of project records, files, inventory and documentation;
9. Seek inputs from members on the regulatory framework of the country associated with Plastic waste management and prepare updates for the members.
10. Assist the consortium in drafting, preparation and finalization of policy papers/white papers/representations on key issues pertaining to plastic waste management.
11. Aid the consultative process with authorities to deliberate issues with respect to PWM matters and represent the industry thereof.
12. Be single point of contact from WeCare for data collection and information compilation, to prepare various progress reports associated with the implementation of EPR and associated activities.
13. Design the agenda and drafting of minutes of internal/external meetings
14. Prepare progress reports for submission to the industry members and regulatory authorities, on behalf of the consortium
