Manufacturer Source Finder Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research to identify potential manufacturers and suppliers
2. Evaluate potential manufacturers based on quality, cost, lead time, and capacity
3. Negotiate pricing and terms with manufacturers to ensure the best possible deal
4. Work with designers and product development teams to ensure that the manufacturer's capabilities align with product design and specifications
5. Maintain strong relationships with selected vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control
6. Monitor and track manufacturer performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
7. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the product development and manufacturing process
8. Work on finding the right manufacturer to produce high-quality products for our brand at an affordable price
9. Be responsible for conducting research on potential manufacturers, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining strong relationships with selected vendors

Requirements:

1. 1-2+ years of experience in market research and supplier management
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
