Key responsibilities:
1. Improve overall local search traffic and volume of campaigns through best practice SEO
2. Constantly optimize the website page speed
3. Optimize copy and landing pages heading, title, image tags, and meta descriptions
4. Work on continuous keyword research and monitoring
5. Write powerful call-to-action scripts
6. Perform competitor research
7. Identify additional website opportunities, such as recommending other content or UI and interlinking suggestions
8. Measure performance through Google Analytics, Search Console, and tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.
9. Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing
10. Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
11. Create and execute link building strategy
Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must
2+ experience in content marketing, content growth, and SEO
Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools
Experience with Google’s keyword tool
A functional understanding of HTML and CSS
The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
Proven success in link-building and viral strategies
The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
A solid grasp of how blogging, press releases, social media, and related strategies go hand-in-hand with SEO
Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs
A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations
Up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry
Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 3,00,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 80%
2. Variable component: 20%
