About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on driving the creative direction and vision of our brand and developing innovative products that resonate with our customers
2. Work closely with the brand team to develop a cohesive creative vision
3. Create designs for new products, from concept to final product, that aligns with our brand identity and customer needs
4. Conduct market research to identify trends, and integrate them into product design
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales, to ensure that designs are manufacturable, marketable, and meet business objectives
6. Ensure that product design is aligned with production timelines and budgets
7. Develop and maintain product specifications, including materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes
8. Present design concepts and product proposals to key stakeholders
9. Evaluate product design to ensure that they meet quality standards and customer expectations
Requirements:
1. 2 to 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the lifestyle industry preferably (even if not, it's ok)
2. Strong design skills, including sketching, 3D modeling, and rendering
3. Decent knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
4. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Strong project management skills
8. A strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and creative vision
