About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end projects
2. Clearly understand and define the client requirements for data collection and annotation projects
3. Work on having calls and meeting with the client to define the scope and guidelines of the work
4. Work on running pilot/POC with the client and assess the expertise, efforts, time, and tools needed to execute the projects
5. Work on defining the success criteria for the project and building project management and quality control plans
6. Identify & onboard the suitable inhouse team members and vendors for the project team and train them
7. Lead the data annotation strategy and team for software organization, targeting excellence of data operations (scalability, time to delivery, quality, and cost-efficiency of annotations) in a context of growing and evolving data needs (types of assets, nature of annotations, skillset required for labelers)
8. Work on coordinating as a single point of contact between the team and the client and ensuring timely redressals of any concerns/doubts, submission of quality deliverables, and smooth relationship building with the client
9. Drive continuous improvement of data annotation team processes

Other requirements

Should be a graduate or above in any field, but preferable if it is in AI or data science

Prior experience working on/leading data annotation projects

1 year+ experience to lead data annotation projects (such as bounding box, polygon, key point, LIDAR annotation on images and videos, text annotation, audio labeling, transcription, etc.) across any industry (preferably for autonomous driving, smart cities, and other such computer vision-related data projects)

2+ years of experience working as a data annotator across any industry and data type

Experience working with open source as well as third-party data annotation platforms, such as CVAT, Labelbox, DataSaur, V7, Basic AI, Dataloop, etc.

Excellent problem-solving, team building, and project management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strategic approach & result oriented

Demonstrated capacity to build solid relationships across organizations and functions

Cultivates innovation through processes and partnerships (internal or external) that maximize value across the data lifecycle

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 3 months

Salary during probation: ₹10,000 - 15,000 /month

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 4,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 20%
