5centsCDN Inc is looking for an experienced and highly skilled SDK developer to help build and shape the future of our platform. As an SDK developer, you will be responsible for developing advanced SDKs across Android, iOS, HTML, CSS, Python, SQL, and REST API. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and eager to take on the tough challenges that come with this role.
Key responsibilities:
1. Check with the backend service if the URL & initialization params are valid before playback
2. Send data to the backend analytics server periodically about the playing stream (stream_details, device_uuid, view_id, device details, os_details, etc.)
3. Send data used by the media stream to the backend analytics server generating/managing UUID for each viewer and send it along with the analytics server for tracking unique visitors, total play duration, etc.
4. Create these as plugin/SDK so that other developers who use ExoPlayer can easily add our analytics in their code using this Plugin/SDK
5. Develop advanced SDKs across various platforms
6. Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements and design solutions
7. Test, debug, and deploy SDKs that meet customer requirements
8. Ensure SDKs are secure, reliable, and performant
9. Identify and troubleshoot potential issues with SDKs proactively
10. Analyze and optimize existing code for better performance
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
Skills & Requirements:
1. Looking for an Android/iOS/Roku developer who has a deep understanding of ExoPlayer and its event modal & analytics feature
2. We need to create a Plugin/SDK for ExoPlayer that will use and poll our analytics server on player events
