About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Work with our tech team to design user experiences for our internal and client-facing tech
2. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the product team
3. Write user stories and translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and hi-fi prototypes
4. Test the wireframes and hi-fi prototypes with all the stakeholders and rapidly iterate on those designs
5. Prep design handoffs and work alongside engineers and product managers throughout the production cycle
6. Optimize existing user experiences
7. Create clean, modern, high-converting, and intuitive user interfaces
Skills & Requirements:
1. 1+ years of UI UX design
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human-computer interaction (HCI), design, or a related field of study
3. A good portfolio showcasing UI UX design skills (Behance, Dribble, personal website, etc.)
4. Proficient in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Figma, and Balasamiq
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Understanding of principles of visual design and composition, gestalt's laws, color theory, laws of UX, etc.
7. Basic understanding of platform design guidelines across web & mobile platforms
