Key responsibilities:

1. Edit both short-form and long-form video content independently, optimized for various social media platforms while maintaining high production quality across formats
2. Craft compelling video openings ("hooks") strategically to maximize viewer retention and engagement
3. Drive content performance by producing videos aimed at increasing overall watch time and audience retention metrics
4. Ensure exceptional sound design and audio quality across all projects by incorporating music, effects, and voice-overs as needed
5. Collaborate proactively with creative directors, content strategists, and clients to translate concepts into visually engaging video content aligned with brand and campaign goals
6. Lead the integration of current editing trends, techniques, and tools including AI-powered solutions into the editing workflow to maintain a modern and dynamic content style
7. Adapt seamlessly to a wide range of client industries and project types, demonstrating versatility in handling both corporate and entertainment-driven content
8. Mentor junior editors or interns when applicable to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
