We're Hiring: Full-Time Video Editor at Bling Digital
About Us:
Bling Digital is a fast-growing social media agency passionate about creating bold, beautiful, and high-performing digital content for brands. We're looking for a full-time Video Editor who is creative, proactive, and excited to grow with us.
We need someone who's ready to bring energy, fresh ideas, and serious editing chops to our team!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit high-quality, engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Ad campaigns.
2. Execute post-production tasks: storytelling, cutting, color correction, sound editing, visual effects, text animations, and transitions.
3. Follow brand guidelines and visual aesthetics for different clients and campaigns.
4. Repurpose long-form content into short-form, snackable social media pieces.
5. Collaborate closely with the creative team on storyboarding, moodboards, and concepts.
6. Stay updated with trends in social media video content and bring fresh ideas.
7. Manage multiple projects and deliver content on tight timelines.
8. Maintain organized project files and efficient workflow.
9. Help create basic motion graphics and dynamic title animations.
10. Work on internal agency projects when needed (branding, BTS reels, launch videos, etc.)
Requirements:
1. Must be available Monday to Friday (11 AM - 7 PM) and half-day on Saturdays.
2. Must be actively present and communicative during working hours.
3. Must have a strong sense of aesthetics, storytelling, and design.
4. Must submit a strong, diverse portfolio of past video editing work.
5. Must have a powerful laptop capable of handling high-res edits and high-speed internet (no mobile data - we will check specs).
6. Must have good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines without constant follow-up.
7. Must be proactive, resourceful, and an overall positive team player.
8. Must NOT engage in freelance work during employment; signing a contract will be required.
Bonus: Knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator is a big plus.
Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of proven experience in professional video editing (agency experience is a bonus).
2. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
3. Basic knowledge of color grading, sound mixing, and typography.
4. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and their content formats.
5. Creative thinking with attention to detail.
6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
7. Fun to work with and open to feedback and team collaboration!
