About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Travel to various locations in select states and districts
2. Survey biomass and seasonality
3. Develop relationships with farmers or FPOs
4. Develop records of biomass availability
5. Negotiate contracts and purchases with farmers and FPOs
6. Arrange and schedule biomass collection equipment
7. Arrange transport
8. Coordinate for other allied activities like warehousing, loading, unloading, labor, etc
9. Evaluate dynamically biomass collection, compacting, and transportation business options
10. Develop commercial and financial models
11. Develop business plans
12. Draft and negotiate contracts
13. Develop sales material
14. Correspond and communicate with customers, suppliers
Requirements:
1. Field acumen
A. Willingness to travel and extend field deployment
B. Comfort in holding discussions with the farm community
C. Knowledge of agriculture, crops, seasonality, harvesting
2. Computer proficiency
A. Working on Excel sheets, and Word Documents
B. Working on CRM software
3. Communication skills
A. Proficiency in English, and Hindi (other languages are a benefit)
B. English writing for communications on emails
C. Speaking with stakeholders over the phone, in meetings
4. Business skills
A. Commercial understanding
B. Computing business parameters (taxes, purchasing, finances)
5. Education
A. Graduate in agriculture science and/or technology
B. PG in business administration or commerce, economics, humanities, mass communication, and equivalent
C. Similar work experience (preferable)
D. An experience in farming

Salary
Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: 10,000 - 12,000 /month
After probation:
Annual CTC: 3 - 3.5 LPA
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 80%
2. Variable component: 20%
