About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services
2. Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements
3. Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
4. Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules
5. Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, and consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel
6. Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in the customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services
7. Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
8. Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes
9. Develop customer staff by providing technical information and training
10. Compile with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and anticipating future legislation
11. Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
12. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
13. Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives
14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
15. Handle exhibition identification and management

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 8,00,000 - 9,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 15%

3. Other incentives: 5%
