The business development manager will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and onboarding new franchise partners for Shemrock & Shemford schools. The role involves a mix of sales expertise, relationship management, and strategic analysis
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential franchisees through market research, networking events, and inbound leads
2. Sales Process: Guide prospective franchisees through the company's sales funnel, from initial contact through to final agreement signing
3. Market Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and regions ripe for expansion
4. Franchise Relations: Maintain positive relations with current franchisees while exploring opportunities for further collaboration or upselling
5. Legal Compliance: Work closely with the legal team to ensure all franchise agreements are compliant with regulatory guidelines
6. Training & Onboarding: Coordinate with the operations team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new franchisees
7. Reporting & Metrics: Track performance metrics and generate regular reports to be shared with senior management
8. Strategic Input: Actively contribute to the development of the franchise strategy, leveraging market insights and franchisee feedback
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or related field. An MBA is a plus
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in franchise sales or business development. Experience in the education sector is preferred
