2. Attend to the incident personally in the field if required
3. Break complex problems down into actionable solutions
4. Maintain & install patch and revision upgrades, latest firmware on all storage and switch systems
5. Research, evaluate, install, configure, test, and maintain innovative storage-related computing hardware and software systems, coordinating with vendors as applicable
6. Provide technical leadership, influence and partner with fellow engineers to architect, design and build mission critical storage systems that can stand the test of scale and availability, while reducing operational
7. Get server logs from customer, if possible, and analyze them for proper diagnosis
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related stream
Knowledge of all servers/storage (e.g. 3PAR, MSA, Dell Epsilon, IBM storage, etc./HPE synergy/tape library hardware problem diagnosis, replacement of parts like HDD, Power Supply, RAM, Motherboard, etc.)
