Key responsibilities include building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project.
Technical Requirement:
1. Experience in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS, JS, and JQuery
2. A deep understanding of Liquid, from a front and back-end perspective
3. The ability to integrate, and safely remove, third-party Shopify apps
4. The ability to implement changes to bespoke Shopify Plus apps using Shopify APIs and developer tools
5. The ability to use Shopify Plus features including Scripts and Flow to best utilize the front and back-end capabilities of the Shopify platform
6. Solid web development principles and extensive knowledge of front-end performance practices
7. Background in product modeling and configuration via Shopify Admin
8. Understanding of product, discount, order APIs, and customizations using the APIs
9. Awareness of the marketing events, discounts, gift cards, and their configurations in Shopify
10. Experience with Shopify instance management and configuration
11. Knowledge in data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances
12. The ability to utilize Git version control, dev environments, and staging themes
