This is a full-time, on-site role for a social media executive. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence and connecting with our passionate audience. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a social media strategy, developing and executing social media campaigns, managing social media channels, creating engaging content that resonates with our audience, managing online communities, and designing promotional materials. The role will also involve analyzing social media data to drive optimization and engagement, managing online presence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
We are looking for a social media executive to join our team and help us share our message with the world. You will be working closely with the founders, operations, and creative teams for successful implementation of social media plans and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Content creation:
1. Develop, create & curate engaging and shareable content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
2. Create compelling visuals, videos, captions, reels, and stories to showcase the products and tell our brand story.
3. Ensure our social media content and campaigns comply with relevant laws, regulations, and platform guidelines.
B. Platform management:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity and business goals.
2. Manage and optimize our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) to increase reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
3. Stay up-to-date with platform algorithms, trends, and best practices to maximize organic reach and engagement.
4. Manage and optimize our social media platforms.
5. Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and brand awareness.
6. Monitor and analyze social media metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of our efforts and make data-driven decisions.
7. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
C. Community engagement:
1. Build and nurture an active and loyal online community around our brand through meaningful interactions, user-generated content, and influencer collaborations.
2. Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and promote our products effectively.
3. Foster a sense of community by actively engaging with our audience, responding to comments, and initiating conversations.
4. Implement strategies to grow and nurture our social media following.
D. Analytics and reporting:
1. Utilize analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics.
2. Provide regular reports on the performance of social media campaigns and suggest improvements based on data insights.
3. Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data and research best ways to increase traffic.
E. Stay current:
1. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and social media best practices.
2. Explore and recommend new opportunities to enhance our social media presence.
3. Stay updated with ethnic wear trends, fashion trends, and social media trends to create content that resonates with our audience.
F. Tools & technologies:
1. Must be well versed with Illustrator, Procreate, and Video Editing tools.
2. Experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Hubspot, Agora Pulse, etc.).
3. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, etc.) & Google Suite.
4. Experience with Photoshop, AI, Premier Pro, After Effects, Figma, Canva or equivalent digital media editing & designing tools a plus.
5. Experience with SEO, SMO, SMM tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Mo,z etc. a plus.

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
2. 0-2 years’ experience with D2C or B2C social media marketing or content development (social media manager, community manager, social media specialist, marketing, PR, communications, ethnic wear industry, etc.).
3. Proven experience as a social media manager in the fashion or D2C industry is a plus.
4. Experience in setting up paid social media advertising and optimizing Google AdWords and meta-ad campaigns.
5. Strong understanding of ethnic wear industry and fashion trends.
6. Proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools.
