Software Application Engineer- Apprenticeship Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work cross-functionally across the engineering and design teams to build reusable frontend components for multiple web-based and/or native applications supporting the Nbyula platform and the Nbyula team to optimize operations & workflow
2. Work closely with the product engineers to build, and maintain reusable libraries, packages, and frameworks for server-side development including infrastructure scaling
3. Participate in product requirements, planning, architecture, design, and engineering discussions and decision-making processes
4. Get hands-on expertise by participating and delivering through all stages of development

Requirements:

1. Candidates presently in their final year or have completed B.Sc. in a related field/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in any engineering stream
2. Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, highly performant code for backend and front-end modules
3. Ability to quickly grasp the internal plumbing of things and zoom into the finer nuances of the bigger picture of a software and/or hardware system
4. Good visual design sense, good experience in developing web-based applications
5. Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and web concepts
6. Experience or familiarity with React.js or any other frontend framework and tools like Webpack
7. Working knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB
8. Excellent communication skills - to be able to work closely with the product team, designers, and other developers
9. Highly effective at working in cross-functional groups and getting results in matrix organizations
10. Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
11. Product-oriented thinking you code to solve problems of millions and not just features tailored for individuals, you should be able to decide the features and strategies that best fit the majority usage patterns
12. Hands-on knowledge of building web/client-server systems using Python, Django/Flask, Nginx, MySQL/MongoDB/Redis/Neo4J over Ubuntu/Debian/Dockers or similar stacks
13. Fluent in HTML5 and CSS
14. Prominently used technologies: Cloud computing, OSS, Schemaless DB, machine learning, web crawling, data scraping, progressive web apps, continuous integration & deployment, RDBMS, Nix
