About the job

Key responsibilities include:

1. Debug and test software products systematically to maintain top-notch quality standards.
2. Develop, maintain, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and tools for robust testing.
3. Analyze test results, identify failures, and collaborate with development teams for swift resolution.
4. Contribute to test automation efforts write new automation scripts and maintain existing frameworks.
5. Develop or adapt custom tools to support functional and performance testing.
6. Plan tests, create test cases, and execute tests on various hardware configurations.
7. Communicate test strategies, execution plans, and results to stakeholders and management.
8. Act as the Quality team's point of contact for the Product Development team.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. have minimum 2 years of experience

Other requirements

1. Strong knowledge of C++ programming and data structures.

2. Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).

3. Proficiency with debuggers and memory analyzers to fix technical issues.

4. Hands-on experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.

5. Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools like Git and Jenkins.

6. Initiative to adopt new tasks and continuously improve test methodologies.

7. Experience in performance testing is an added advantage.

8. Proven ability to test and certify components across multiple hardware setups.

Qualifications:

1. B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

2. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

3. Consistently strong academic scores.
