Software/Firmware Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on embedded firmware development for new features and product releases
2. Work on issue/bug resolution and sustaining support of existing releases on hardware
3. Customize platform release to meet requirements for customer projects
4. Work as a member of the agile cross-functional development team, delivering code with quality following best practices for software development
5. Improve and maintain automated build and test framework

Qualifications:

1. Proficient in C/C++ with more than 1 year of product development experience
2. Going through at least one software development lifecycle, using agile development methodologies
3. Strong embedded software development skills with FreeRTOS and Linux
4. Past experience troubleshooting application bugs, device drivers and connectivity issues
5. Familiar with logical analyzer to trace hardware-related issues
6. Past product development experience using RF, IR, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and/or WiFi
7. Experience with AI and ML on edge devices is a plus
8. B. Tech or B.S. degree in computer science or related technical field
