About the job

Key responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks for Acrobat web integrations and extensions.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.

3. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality, stability, and performance.

4. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and work closely with the development team to resolve issues promptly.

5. Conduct root cause analysis of software defects and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

6. Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data sets to ensure robust test coverage.

7. Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process.

8. Work with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain key quality metrics, ensuring compliance with industry-standard QA processes.

9. Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and automation.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

2. 1–4 years of experience in software quality assurance, ideally in an Agile development environment.

3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

4. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., WebdriverIO, Mocha, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).

5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript for automation tasks.

6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

10. Relevant certifications in software testing or QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
