Key responsibilities:

1. Write scripts to automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code
2. Identify weak spots and constantly design better and more creative ways to detect issues
3. Work on improving test coverage, faster releases, and ensuring production health
4. Work closely with development teams to improve test coverage/quality

Other requirements

6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing

Ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure

Coding experience in any language (preferably Python)

Willingness to explore other programming languages based on the needs

Sound knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging

Ability to find functional flaws, identify weak spots in the software product being tested

Good functional compatibility testing experience over web applications

Should have experience in logging bugs in JIRA Bugzilla or any other tools

Strong in SQL scripting skills

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 3,25,000 /year
