1. Meet with the director to determine the production vision
2. Review raw material to determine the shot list
3. Manipulate film and video footage using modern editing techniques
4. Maintain continuity while moving shots according to scene value
5. Trim footage and put together the rough project
6. Insert dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
7. Ensure the project follows a logical sequence
8. Consult with the director and production team throughout the project
9. Create the final cut for broadcasting
10. Improve video and sound quality using various video software
11. Edit the video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
12. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the client's specifications
Video Editor Requirements:
1. BA/BS or similar degree
2. 1+ year of experience as a video specialist or similar role
3. Some experience in using video and editing equipment
4. Creative thinker
5. Good time-management skills
6. Great interpersonal and communication skills
7. Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
8. Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics are preferred
9. Girl candidate preferred
10. Bachelor's degree in film editing or a related degree is required
11. Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
