SEO Specialist & Wordpress Expert Job (Remote)

The SEO Specialist & WordPress Expert will be responsible for optimizing our clients' websites to improve their search engine rankings and overall digital visibility. You will work closely with our marketing and content teams to drive organic traffic, increase rankings, and enhance the user experience through WordPress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO strategy & execution:

a. Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic rankings.
b. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits.
c. Optimize meta tags, headers, alt texts, and other HTML elements for SEO best practices.
d. Improve site structure, speed, and performance for SEO enhancement.

2. WordPress management:

a. Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on SEO performance.
b. Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues related to SEO, UX, or functionality.
c. Ensure WordPress websites are mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and optimized for search engines.

3. Content optimization:

a. Work closely with content creators to optimize articles, blogs, and landing pages for target keywords.
b. Collaborate on content strategies that align with SEO goals and enhance user experience.

4. Technical SEO:

a. Handle tasks such as crawl optimization, URL structure management, canonicalization, sitemaps, and robots.txt updates.
b. Identify and fix technical SEO issues (e.g., broken links, page errors, and redirects).

5. Analytics & reporting:

a. Monitor website analytics, track KPIs, and prepare SEO performance reports.
b. Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and others to track and improve site performance.

6. Collaboration:

a. Work alongside designers and content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed across all platforms.
b. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm updates in SEO and WordPress development.
