TuTr Hyperloop Private Limited is a deep tech incubated startup at IIT Madras that designs, develops amongst others, ultra-high-speed ground transportation systems, consisting of vehicles traveling in reduced-pressure environments for passenger, cargo, and other transportation applications.
Presently, India's (and Asia's) 1st hyperloop test track is being constructed (by & for IIT Madras) at IIT Madras' Discovery campus, Thaiyur by L&T Construction which is supported by ArcelorMittal & Indian Railways. TuTr aims to capitalize on its collaboration with some leading industry partners and its proximity to India's largest deep tech ecosystem, fostering the advancement of affordable hyperloop technologies. The initial goal is to address challenges in goods movement and enhance the efficiency of various industries, thereby boosting productivity.
