Real Estate Valuation Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

I. Site Visits with Engineers and Managers: Accompany engineers and managers on site visits to gain practical insight into property valuations and construction processes

II. Micromarket Analysis:
1. Conduct research on local real estate markets to identify trends, demand-supply dynamics, and current market rates
2. Present findings and recommendations to senior team members to support informed decision-making in property valuation

III. Estimation or Working Out Quantities: Assist in quantity surveying and cost estimation processes for construction projects

IV. Study Drawings:
1. Review architectural, sanctioned, and engineering drawings
2. Gain proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, plans, and blueprints

V. Valuation Report Drafting:
1. Support senior valuers in drafting comprehensive valuation reports for various types of properties
2. Learn how to analyze market data, comparable sales, and approaches to property valuation
3. Develop skills in report writing, including clear and concise communication of valuation methodologies, findings, and conclusions
