Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics invites applications for Summer Students' Programme in which students participate in research and developmental work that are of interest in SINP.

The Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics is an institute of basic scientific research located in Kolkata (Calcutta). The Institute was founded in 1950 by Professor Meghnad Saha as a part of University of Calcutta.

About the Internship:

Areas of research in SINP include Biophysics, Chemical Sciences, Crystallography & Molecular Biology, Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Experimental High Energy Physics, Microelectronics, Nuclear & Atomic Physics, Plasma Physics, Surface Physics, Theoretical Physics and Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. Who can apply:

First year M.Sc./equivalent B. Tech. students with excellent academic records in Physical/Chemical/Life Sciences are encouraged to apply. The applicants doing an integrated M.Sc. should have completed at least 3 years. Only those candidates whose academic interests overlap with areas being pursued in SINP will be considered.
