Teaching Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Guide students in their personal growth and development by encouraging self-reflection and emotional intelligence
2. Assist them in setting personal goals and developing strategies to achieve them
3. Employ conflict resolution techniques to manage and resolve disputes among students effectively, fostering a harmonious living environment
4. Ensure the physical and emotional safety of students at all times
5. Response to students' needs, providing first aid or emotional support as necessary
6. Collaborate with the program coordinators to develop and refine residential life programs that cater to the diverse needs of gifted students
7. Provide feedback and suggestions based on student interactions and program outcomes
8. Create a sense of community and belonging among students
9. Initiate group discussions, team-building activities, and forums to encourage mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration among students
10. Promote an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives
11. Encourage students to share their experiences and learn from each other, enriching the program's cultural tapestry
12. Supervise students during non-class hours, including evenings and weekends
13. Plan and coordinate leisure and recreational activities that are both fun and educational, aligning with the program s goals
14. Maintain a calm demeanor and take decisive action to ensure student safety, following program protocols
