About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Stay ahead of the latest fashion trends, colours, and styles and integrate them into our design concepts
2. Generate original designs and concepts tailored to our cotton garments and textiles, reflecting the essence of our brand
3. Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure manufacturing feasibility and uphold quality standards
4. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive insights
5. Present design ideas and proposals to the creative team for review and feedback
6. Assist in the development of seasonal collections and product lines, aligning them with our brand identity and market demands
7. Embrace a hands-on approach in all aspects of the design process, from conceptualization to execution, while adhering to project timelines
8. Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn by actively participating in team brainstorming sessions and skill-building workshops
9. Contribute to maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to creativity and innovation

Other requirements

1. Pursuing or recently completing a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field

2. Strong passion for fashion, textiles, and craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics

3. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferred

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and visualise design concepts effectively

5. A prior internship or relevant experience in fashion design or textile design is a plus

6. Enthusiasm for learning and a collaborative spirit, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and perspectives
