🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Athletes who have participated in a Pre-State Championship, State Championship, All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship (AIGVMSC), Zonal Championship, an India Open Competition or the National Shooting Championship are eligible to enter the NR matches.
- If a State Rifle Association has not conducted its Pre-State Championship, NRAI may allow shooters from that state to participate.
- Athletes can participate in multiple India Open competitions in an attempt to achieve the required MQS for the 69th NSCC.
- Once a shooter achieves the required MQS under the applicable NRAI rules, that MQS remains valid for determining eligibility for the 69th NSCC even if the athlete fails to repeat it at a subsequent qualifying competition.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Gold Medal: Awarded to the first-place shooter in each eligible individual category.
- Silver Medal: Awarded to the second-place shooter.
- Bronze Medal: Awarded to the third-place shooter.
- Medals are determined using the qualification scores, rather than a separate final for the India Open NR matches. National Rifle Association of India
- A major competitive incentive is the opportunity to achieve the required MQS for entry into the 69th National Shooting Championship Competition.
- The event gives shooters Pre-National-level competition experience and an opportunity to progress through India’s domestic shooting pathway.
