The 0135 India Open Competition – Rifle & Pistol NR Events 2026 is a Pre-National-level shooting competition organised by the National Rifle Association of India. The event gives emerging and experienced shooters an opportunity to compete across air rifle, air pistol, firearm and para-shooting categories while attempting to achieve the Minimum Qualifying Score required for participation in the 69th National Shooting Championship Competition. The July 2026 edition has also been named the Jaspal Rana Memorial India Open Competition in Rifle/Pistol Events.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Athletes who previously participated in a Pre-State Championship, State Championship, All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship, Zonal Championship, India Open Competition or National Shooting Championship but did not achieve the required MQS may participate in the relevant NR matches.
- Athletes may enter more than one India Open Competition to achieve the Minimum Qualifying Score for the 69th National Shooting Championship.
- A shooter who achieves the prescribed MQS in an eligible event will become eligible to participate in the corresponding event at the 69th NSCC.
- Participants must register and submit entries through the official NRAI online portal.

- Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded in each eligible individual category.
- Medals will be decided on the basis of qualification scores.
- Medal allocation will follow the applicable provisions of the NRAI Match Book.
- Athletes who achieve the prescribed MQS can qualify to participate in the relevant event at the 69th National Shooting Championship Competition.
- Strong performance can provide shooters with valuable Pre-National competition experience and exposure within India’s domestic shooting circuit.
