📌About the Event
The 3rd National Intellectual Property Article Writing Competition 2026 is a national-level legal writing competition organised by the Centre for Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (CIIPR) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, in collaboration with S.S. Rana & Co. The competition encourages undergraduate students across India to showcase their legal research, analytical thinking and writing skills by exploring emerging issues in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Participants can submit original research articles on topics such as patent law, copyright, trademarks and artificial intelligence. With a total cash prize pool of ₹31,000, internship opportunities at S.S. Rana & Co., publication opportunities and participation certificates, the competition provides a platform for aspiring legal professionals to gain recognition and strengthen their research profiles

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open exclusively to undergraduate students from institutions across India.
- Students may participate individually or in teams of two.
- Cross-institutional co-authorship is permitted.
- Each participant or team can submit only one article.
- Multiple submissions by the same participant or team will result in disqualification.
🏆 Benefits for the Participants
- Total Cash Prize Pool: ₹31,000.
- First Prize: ₹15,000.
- Second Prize: ₹10,000.
- Third Prize: ₹6,000.
- Internship Opportunities: Authors of the top two entries will be offered internships at S.S. Rana & Co., subject to eligibility.
- Internship Eligibility: Limited to students in the 4th or 5th year of B.A. LL.B. or 3rd year of the three-year LL.B. programme.
