5th Prof. V. S. Mallar Memorial Legal Aid Lawyering Competition 2026–27
National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru
📌About the Event
The 5th Prof. V. S. Mallar Memorial Legal Aid Lawyering Competition 2026–27 is a legal-aid competition centred on the theme “Violence Against Children: From Legal Protection to Effective Remedy.” Unlike a traditional moot court, the competition asks participants to examine a legal-aid problem from factual, legal, institutional, social and remedial perspectives. Teams will explore issues such as children’s rights, violence against children, access to legal aid, institutional accountability and effective remedies. The different components of the competition collectively form a legal-aid case record and culminate in a simulated Bal Adalat.
