📌About the Event

The 7th National Online Quiz on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 is a nationwide knowledge competition organised by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in collaboration with MyGov. The quiz aims to improve awareness of the objectives, provisions, institutional framework and achievements of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code among students, professionals, academicians, entrepreneurs and other Indian citizens. Participants can test their understanding of one of India’s most significant legal and economic reforms while competing for cash prizes and medals.

  • Mode of conduct: Online through the MyGov Quiz platform
  • Quiz format: 20 multiple-choice questions
  • Marks: One mark for every question
  • Quiz duration: 10 minutes or 600 seconds
  • Languages available: English and Hindi
  • Negative marking: No negative marking
  • Topic: Provisions, processes, institutions, objectives and developments related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

  • Who can participate:
    • The quiz is open to Indian citizens aged 18 years or above as of 15 July 2026.
    • Students, working professionals, academicians, entrepreneurs and other eligible Indian citizens can participate.
    • Employees of IBBI and the BSE Investors’ Protection Fund, including permanent and contractual employees, cannot participate.
    • Service providers registered with IBBI under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and their immediate family members are not eligible.
    • Participants must self-certify that they meet the eligibility conditions.
    • Cash-prize winners of the first six editions of the National Online Quiz on IBC will not be eligible to receive a cash prize in this edition.

🏆 Benefits for the Participants

  • First prize: Gold medal and a cash prize of ₹1,00,000
  • Second prize: Silver medal and a cash prize of ₹50,000
  • Third prize: Bronze medal and a cash prize of ₹25,000
  • Consolation prizes: The next 20 best performers will receive ₹5,000 each
  • The consolation prizes are sponsored by the BSE Investors’ Protection Fund.
  • The prizes and medals will be presented during an appropriate ceremony organised by IBBI.
