📌About the Event

The II KIIT International Moot Court Competition 2026, organised by the Moot Court Society of KIIT School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, is an international-level law competition designed to test students’ legal research, written advocacy and courtroom argumentation skills. The 2026 moot problem focuses on international commercial arbitration and documentary credits, involving issues related to ICC arbitration, UCP 600, banking law and international commercial law. The competition offers a ₹3.90 lakh prize pool and welcomes law students from India as well as abroad.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year law degree programme, or a comparable graduate-level law programme.
• Participants must represent a recognised and accredited institution in which they are currently enrolled.
• Each team can have 2–3 members.
• A team may include a maximum of:
• 2 Speakers
• 1 Researcher
• Teams must submit their memorials by the prescribed deadline.
• The competition begins with online Preliminary Rounds.
• Qualifying teams proceed to the offline Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final.
• A separate Researcher’s Test is also conducted.
• Evaluation therefore covers participants’ written memorials, legal research and oral advocacy performance across the competition stages.
