📌About the Event

Space Quiz 15.1 is the first preliminary round of the 15th edition of Space Quiz, conducted as part of the National Students’ Space Challenge (NSSC) 2026 at IIT Kharagpur. The competition tests participants’ knowledge of astrophysics, physical cosmology, planetary science, astronomy and space exploration through a fast-paced quiz format. Separate competition categories are available for school and college students.

• The preliminary stage consists of three online MCQ-based quizzes – Space Quiz 15.1, 15.2 and 15.3.
• Teams can participate in one or multiple preliminary quizzes.
• If a team participates in multiple preliminaries, its best score will be considered.
• Qualified teams advance to the pre-final stage.
• The school pre-final is online, while the college pre-final is conducted at IIT Kharagpur.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to school and college students.
• Eligible college participants include undergraduate, postgraduate, engineering, management, arts, commerce, science, law and medical students.
• Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 3 members.
• Team members can belong to different institutions.
• All members of a team must belong to the same broad category – school or college.
• Only the team leader should complete the team registration.
• Each team gets one attempt per preliminary round from a single device.
