📌About the Event

EIC VentureX: Idea To Impact Hackathon 2026 is a startup-focused innovation and pitching competition organized by the Entrepreneurship & Incubation Cell (EIC), Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. Open to students and working professionals across India, the event challenges teams to identify real-world problems, develop practical solutions, build a functional MVP, and pitch their ideas before judges, mentors, founders, and venture capitalists.

ℹ️ Event Details

• Team Size: 3–4 members.
• Cross-college and cross-city teams: Allowed.
• Solo participation: Not allowed.
• Round 1A – VentureX Team Quiz: A 20-minute online quiz covering entrepreneurship, problem-solving, market awareness, and startup fundamentals.
• The stage instructions state that the quiz should be submitted once per team through the registered team leader’s email.
• Round 1B – Idea Pitch Submission: Teams submit a 6–7 slide solution deck explaining the problem, proposed solution, working model, market opportunity, business model, and team.
• Pitch decks must be submitted in PDF or PPT format, with a maximum file size of 20 MB.

• Eligibilty:
• Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as working professionals across India.
• Eligible academic backgrounds include:
• Engineering
• Management
• Arts, Commerce & Sciences
• Law
• Medical and other disciplines
• Teams must consist of 3–4 participants.
• Cross-college and cross-city teams are permitted.
• One participant must register as the team leader and add the remaining members.
• Teams may work on their own problem statement or select one provided during the competition.
