📌About the Event

HackWave 3.0 is a 36-hour hackathon organised by Echelon Dev Society at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGI), Indore. The event brings together student developers and innovators from across India to build original technology solutions for real-world problems and compete for a ₹1 lakh prize pool.

ℹ️ Event Details

• Final Venue: Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
• Duration: 36 hours.
• Team Size: 3–5 members.
• Round 1: Teams submit a PPT of up to 8 slides showcasing their project/idea, features, tech stack and relevant links.
• Final Round: Top 50 teams are shortlisted for the offline hackathon.
• Problem statements will be revealed at the beginning of the final round.
• Shortlisted teams must build a new solution from scratch within 36 hours.

• Shortlisting Results: October 2, 2026.
• Offline Hackathon: October 10–12, 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to college students across India.
• Teams must have 3–5 members.
• Inter-college and inter-specialisation teams are allowed.
• Participants must carry a valid college ID.
• Participants below 18 years must provide parental consent.
• Teams must bring their own laptops, chargers and other required equipment.
• Open-source libraries, frameworks, APIs and tools are permitted.
• Final projects must be original work created during the hackathon.
• Round 1 projects cannot simply be reused as final-round submissions.

🏆 Benefits for the Participants

• Total Prize Pool: ₹1,00,000.
• 1st Prize : ₹50,000 + Certificate.
• 2nd Prize: ₹25,000 + Certificate.
• 3rd Prize: ₹15,000 + Certificate.
• 4th Prize: ₹10,000 + Certificate.
• Prizes and certificates are expected to be released within 60 days after the event concludes.
