The 2nd Edition KMC National Moot Court Competition 2026, organised by the Moot Court Society of KMC College of Law, Tirupur, is a national-level moot court competition aimed at strengthening students’ legal research, memorial drafting, case analysis, oral advocacy, and courtroom skills. The 2026 edition focuses on the theme “Fair Play and Market Dominance: Game Beyond the Pitch – Navigating the Anti-Competitive Legal Spectrum,” exploring competition law, sports regulation, market dominance, and anti-competitive practices.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year B.A. LL.B. from a recognised Indian college, university, or law school can participate.
• Teams must consist of 2 Speakers and 1 Researcher, and the registered team composition cannot normally be changed later.
• Registration is confirmed only after payment and verification of the registration fee.
• The Researcher Test will be 45 minutes long and include 20 MCQs and 3 descriptive questions.
• Teams must prepare memorials for both sides of the proposition and maintain anonymity by using only their assigned Team Code.
• Each oral round ordinarily lasts 60 minutes, with 30 minutes allotted to each side. An individual speaker cannot exceed 15 minutes.
