Orathon 2.0 is an interdisciplinary debate competition organised by Virtuosity Legal in collaboration with ODR Nexus as part of the second edition of Virtuosity Lexicon 2026. The competition aims to bring together participants to engage with contemporary issues through structured argumentation, critical thinking, research and persuasive communication. Orathon 2.0 is one of five competitions being conducted during Virtuosity Lexicon 2026.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• The competition is interdisciplinary and is designed for students interested in debating contemporary issues beyond strictly legal subjects.
• The previous edition was open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from Indian institutions and followed individual participation.
• Participants should rely on the Orathon 2.0 rulebook once released for final 2026 eligibility requirements.
• The previous edition followed three stages:
• Written submission/summary of arguments.
• Oral debate rounds for shortlisted participants.
• An extempore final round for top qualifiers.
