📌About the Event

HackMysuru 1.0 is a two-phase student engineering and AI hackathon organised in Mysuru, Karnataka. The competition focuses on solving real civic and industry problems through working software rather than idea-only presentations. Participants first compete in a 72-hour online build challenge, after which the top 50 teams qualify for a 24-hour on-site Grand Hackathon in Mysuru.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Students pursuing B.E., B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, MCA, M.Sc or M.Tech programmes across India can participate.
• Teams must consist of 2–4 members.
• Participants must develop their solution during the official build period; pre-built code dumps are not permitted.
• Teams retain 100% ownership of their intellectual property.
• AI coding assistants such as ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor are permitted, but their use must be disclosed.
• Plagiarism or copying another team’s repository can result in disqualification.
• Phase 1 submissions must include a GitHub repository with readable source code, resource.md, a presentation of up to 10 slides and a one-page architecture decision log.
