📌About the Event

WCPC 2K26, or the Walchand Collegiate Programming Contest 2026, is an ICPC-inspired competitive programming contest organized by the CodeChef WCE Chapter. The competition brings college students together to test their algorithmic thinking, coding, logical reasoning, and teamwork through two challenging programming rounds.

ℹ️ Event Details

• Format: Two-round competitive programming contest
• Team Size: 1–3 members
• Preliminary Round: Online
• Final Round: Offline at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli
• Both rounds will be conducted using the Codeforces platform.
• Each round consists of 8 programming problems of varying difficulty.
• Participants get 2 hours to solve the problems in each round.
• During the online prelims, teams can use up to three PCs.
• During the offline final, each team will work collaboratively using one PC.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to college students from first year to final year.
• Teams can consist of 1 to 3 members.
• All team members must belong to the same college; cross-college teams are not permitted.
• The preliminary round features 8 coding problems to be solved within 2 hours.
• Teams are evaluated on their performance in solving the programming challenges within the allotted time.
• The top performers from the preliminary round qualify for the offline final.
• The finale also consists of 8 programming problems with a 2-hour duration.
