📌About the Event

The 1st UPSIFS National Moot Court Competition 2026 is being organised by the Moot Court Committee, School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies, Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS), Lucknow. The national-level competition gives law students an opportunity to strengthen their legal research, memorial drafting, critical thinking and oral advocacy skills through simulated courtroom proceedings. The moot focuses on contemporary issues involving constitutional law, criminal law, technology, forensic investigation and criminal justice.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Students enrolled in a 3-year LL.B. programme or 5-year integrated law programme are eligible.
• Students pursuing only postgraduate or diploma programmes are not eligible.
• Teams may consist of 2 or 3 members.
• A three-member team must have 2 Speakers and 1 Researcher.
• A two-member team must have 2 Speakers, with one Speaker also acting as the Researcher.
• Multiple teams from the same institution may participate, subject to submission of the prescribed No Objection Certificate (NOC).
