Odoo × GCET Hyderabad Hackathon 2026 is a national-level coding hackathon organised to identify talented developers and provide students, freshers, and coding enthusiasts with a platform to build innovative solutions using their programming skills. The event features surprise problem statements, competitive coding rounds, and opportunities to showcase real-world problem-solving abilities. Selected participants can compete for cash prizes, certificates, Odoo goodies, and potential career opportunities with Odoo.

ℹ️ Event Details

• Mode of Conduct:
• The hackathon will be conducted in two stages:
• Virtual Round (Online):
  • An 8-hour coding challenge where participants solve surprise problem statements.
  • Problem statements are revealed on the day of the challenge.
• Final Round (Offline):
  • A 24-hour coding marathon conducted at GCET Hyderabad campus.
  • Finalists work on a new surprise problem statement.
• Hackathon Format:
  • Participants need to build solutions based on real-world problem statements.
  • Teams can collaborate and develop projects using any programming language.
• Participants are encouraged to use:
  • Dynamic or real-time data sources.
  • Responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Proper Git/version control practices.
  • Backend APIs and database integration where required.
• Rounds:
  • Registration and team formation.
  • Virtual coding round.
  • Shortlisting of top teams.
  • 24-hour grand finale.

• Eligibilty:
• Open to:
• Engineering students.
• Freshers.
• Coding enthusiasts.
• Tech students from any branch or institution.
• Participants must be 18 years or above.
• No prior hackathon experience is required.
• Basic coding and development knowledge is recommended.
• Teams can have:
• Minimum: 1 member.
• Maximum: 4 members.
• Cross-college and cross-institution teams are allowed.
• All programming languages are accepted.
