📌About the Event
Global Innovation Build Challenge V2 (GIBC V2) is a global online hackathon designed for students to build innovative technology solutions across artificial intelligence, foundational language models, applied AI, and open innovation. The challenge encourages participants to create functional prototypes, experiment with emerging technologies, and solve real-world problems through engineering and creativity. The hackathon features three major tracks — Foundational LLM Development, Applied AI for Medical Technology & Finance, and Open Technical Innovation — allowing students to showcase their technical skills on an international platform.

- Mode of Conduct: Fully online international hackathon.
- Competition Format: Participants can build projects individually or collaborate in teams.
- Team Size: Teams can have 1–6 members.
- Duration: The hackathon runs over a 10-week build period.
- Project Tracks:
- Track 1: TECH (Foundational LLM Development)
- Build and train a language model with up to 50 million parameters.
- Track 2: Applied AI (Medical Technology & Finance)
- Develop data-driven solutions using real-world datasets for healthcare or finance applications.
- Track 3: Open Innovation
- Create innovative software, hardware, generative AI systems, or cross-disciplinary technical solutions.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules
- Eligibilty:
- Open to students worldwide.
- Participants must be aged 13 years or above.
- Companies and professional organisations are not eligible to participate.
- Participants can compete individually or form teams of up to 6 members.
