📌About the Event

The MolSoft India UGM 2026 Poster Presentation Competition is a research showcase conducted as part of the 3rd MolSoft India User Group Meeting – Annual Conference on Computational Drug Discovery (ACCDD) 2026. It gives students and research scholars an opportunity to present work related to computational drug discovery, including molecular modelling, molecular docking, virtual screening, chemoinformatics and related areas. Participants are expected to highlight the use of MolSoft tools in their research, while the best posters will receive cash prizes. The conference brings together researchers, computational scientists, medicinal chemists, structural biologists, AI/ML experts and drug-discovery professionals.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• The competition is primarily designed for students and research scholars / young researchers working in computational drug discovery or related scientific areas.
• Research may cover areas such as:
• Molecular modelling
• Molecular docking
• Virtual screening
• Chemoinformatics
• Structure-based drug design
• AI/ML applications in drug discovery
• Other related computational drug-discovery methodologies.
• The research work should highlight the use of MolSoft tools.
• Participants who do not currently use MolSoft may be able to obtain a free trial licence to prepare their entry using MolSoft ICM tools.

🏆 Benefits for the Participants

• Top 3 Posters: Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries.
• The exact prize amounts have not yet been disclosed on the official 2026 event page.
• Participation Certificates: All participants will receive participation certificates.
• Participants get an opportunity to showcase their research to researchers, academics and professionals from India’s computational drug-discovery community.
• Presenters can interact and network with professionals working in computational chemistry, molecular modelling, medicinal chemistry, structural biology, AI/ML and pharmaceutical research.
• Eligible non-users may receive access to a free MolSoft ICM trial licence for preparing their poster.
• Winning posters are scheduled to be recognised during the Poster Winner Awards session at ACCDD 2026.
