📌About the Event

The Manipal MedTech Hackathon 2026 is a national-level virtual healthcare innovation competition organized by Manipal-GoK Bioincubator–BioNEST and its Student Entrepreneurship Cell, in association with Manipal Institute of Technology, Kasturba Medical College (Manipal and Mangalore), and the Innovation Centre, MAHE.
The hackathon encourages undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students and researchers to develop innovative solutions to real-world healthcare and medical technology challenges. It aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, student entrepreneurship, startup creation, and critical problem-solving skills. Participants get an opportunity to transform their ideas into potential healthcare innovations through team-based problem-solving and an online final pitch.

🎯 Eligibility & Rules

• Eligibilty:
• Open to enrolled undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students and researchers from academic or research institutions.
• Teams must contain a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members.
• Teams may include a mentor, although mentorship is optional.
• Participants must register using the organizer’s official registration form.
• Teams must provide accurate registration and contact information.
• Participants must develop solutions addressing problems within the healthcare or medical technology domain.
• The organizer has shared a separate rules document for the October–November round.
